Mike Roche is a founding member and bassist of the legendary punk rock band TSOL. Formed in 1978 in Long Beach, California, the band has toured the world and appeared in several movies, including the 1984 Penelope Spheeris’ film Suburbia, where the band performed live. A surfer kid from Orange County, Mike was instrumental in bringing punk rock fashion to downtown HB. Mike created and managed The Electric Chair downtown on Main St., the first punk rock store in Huntington Beach. Mike is also a professional tattooist who earned his apprenticeship at the
famous Mark Mahoney’s Shamrock Social Club on the Sunset Strip. He has worked for Hart & Huntington Tattoo since shortly after their opening at The Palms Casino. Today Mike resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he lives with his girlfriend, Tracy, and their rescue dog, an Akita named Rowan. Mike continues to play with three of the original founding members of TSOL, and if you’re lucky, you may just get him to tattoo you!
