Joe Donnelly is a journalist and writer living in Southern California. He teaches English and journalism at Whittier College. His previous collection, L.A. Man: Profiles from a Big City and a Small World, was published by Rare Bird Books. Donnelly has earned numerous recognitions for his journalism. His short story “Bonus Baby” was selected for the 2016 O. Henry Prize Collection, and “50 Minutes,” written with Harry Shannon, was selected for The Best American Mystery Stories.
